This growing church in a multi-ethnic community just outside of Atlanta, GA is seeking their second Ministry Resident!

Expected Work Hours: 20-25 hr/week
Expected Monthly Pay: $1,000/month

What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your church?
We would become a church that transforms our community for Jesus through relationships.

Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hopeful will happen through this process?
We believe in raising up men and women for vocational ministry, and we desire to do so from within ourselves. We want a pipeline of leaders raised up from within our church for generations to come.

What is it like to work on staff there?
Our team values: servanthood, extra mile, always learning, team player.

Please describe the current staff structure.
Crosspoint is Staff driven, and Elder overseen.  All operational and ministerial staff report directly to the Lead Minister; Lead Minister reports directly to the Elder Board.

What qualities does it take to “win” on staff at your church?   
Learner, desire to be coached, collaborative across ministries, “I’ll do that” mentality.

Who will the resident report to?  Will there be a different person acting as coach?   What do you know about their personalities (enneagram, DiSC, Strength Finders, etc.) Have you given thought as to what type of personality will work best with them?
The Ministry Resident will report to the Lead Minister (the Coach is TBD). Curtis is an enneagram 6wing7 and works well with self-motivated energizers.

Enneagram, Strengths Finder

Are you affiliated with a particular denomination or tribes/association of churches? If so, what websites could one investigate to gain further understanding?
Crosspoint is a Non-Denominational Restoration Movement church. We are independently governed and sustained.

What are the key doctrinal and theological issues where alignment is essential?
We believe in the essentiality of the biblical steps to receiving salvation: hear, believe, confess, repent, be baptized. Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-5

What is your average weekend attendance?
200

In general, what is your church demographic?
Predominantly white/Caucasian, growing quickly in black/African American. Crosspoint has a Spanish-speaking worship service representing multiple Central American nationalities.

How many conversions has your church had in the past 12 months? (however you define this and whatever you count)
45 Baptisms since January 2023. (Currently May 2024)

What percentage of people are involved in a small group?
75% of Sunday morning attendees.

How much are you planning on financially compensating your resident?  Is it set or is it flexible?
Year One: $12,000.00, Year 2 (pending performance review and growth markers): $15,000.00

What are the expected work hours and what does a typical workweek look like for this resident?
20-25 hr/week, working in an office format planning and making relationships with key volunteers within ministries. Specific workweek varies by ministry department.
