This church of 1,200 in the beautiful area northeast of Chattanooga is looking for a several residents to join their team.
Expected Work Hours: 40 hours weekly
Expected Monthly Pay: $1,160/monthly + housing + Mileage
What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your church?
A healthy church developing healthy leaders and disciple makers. Seeing spiritual reproduction as a normal thing instead of occasionally. Developing the future generation for ministry.
Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hopeful will happen through this process?
We feel like we are at a deficit of leaders and people we can trust to take leadership roles in our church. We are hoping to develop a leader that could one day lead at Dallas Bay Church or in other ministries that they might go to.
What is it like to work on staff there?
A place where we look forward to coming in and working with each other and doing ministry together. There is a close family atmosphere and great community that we work hard to protect. We have each other’s backs and can trust each other and leadership.

What qualities does it take to “win” on staff at your church?
A team player that exhibits the 3 C’s. Character, Chemistry, and Competency. Clear expectations are given, obtainable and celebrated when met.
Who will the resident report to? Will there be a different person acting as coach?
Dwight Martin, Luke Littrell, and Tyler Worley. Depending on the role of the resident will depend on who will be their coach.
Are there particular assessment tools that you prefer when exploring potential staff people?
Enneagram/Leadr.

Yes, Southern Baptist, Hamilton County Baptist association and affiliation of the Tennessee Baptists Mission Board.

We uphold the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.

Sunday-Thursday at 8 hours a day but will occasionally work after hours for events.
What else would you say to a resident considering joining your team?
They will experience a very warm and friendly welcome from our team along with the congregation. They will be given many opportunities to get hands on experience and grow in their field of interest and others that they may not know a lot about.
