This is a great reference tool that we keep within a short reach. It’s NUMBER ONE on our list and is a deep dive into the unique characteristics, challenges, and strengths of Generation Z—those born between 1995 and 2010. If you want to be serious about having Gen Z on your team this book is a must.

THE DEFINING DECADE
by Meg Jay
She’s a clinical psychologist and this book is good for managers and Gen Z alike. Our biggest takeaway here is that the notion that “30 is the new 20” is a farse. We like that.

THE ANXIOUS GENERATION

This is one author’s take as to why mental health crisis has risen so quickly among this generation.
